• Deep Ellum - eclectic neighborhood with food, bars with live music, and the famous Pecan Lodge 

• Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden - great spot to go with family and kids activities - Margaret Elizabeth Jonsson Color garden is my fav 

• Bishop Arts District - fun bars and lots of shops and restaurants, really enjoyed brunch at Odd Fellows, Emporium Pies

• Catch a game with the Dallas Cowboys or the Dallas Mavericks 

• Dallas Art District - Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas Museum of Art, The Crown Museum of Asian Art

• Highland Park Village: Luxury shopping, eats and a movie theater! My favorite restaurants here are Honor Bar, Mi Cocina, and Royal Blue Grocery for a coffee or bite to go.
